It can be frustrating trying to find help for your special needs child in Utah.

The State of Utah has several dispute resolution programs that are free for parents: Facilitation, Mediation, State Complaint, and Due Process. Historically, these programs have had limited success, but parents have seen an increase in wins over the past eighteen (18) months due to attorney advocacy.  Additionally, parents can seek help from the federal government through FERPA, OCR, and DOJ complaints.  The IEP Student Center and the Disability Law Center are leading the charge to improve outcomes for parents and children in Utah!​​
