What is a Forensic IEP Audit?
The Forensic IEP Audit is an investigative process through which our team of educational experts conducts a comprehensive review of a student’s educational history and records. This process involves a thorough evaluation of district and private educational assessments, diagnostic evaluations, eligibility determinations, current and prior IEPs and/or 504 plans, student grades, academic test scores, disciplinary records, documented communication between members of the educational team, and any other relevant educational records.
Through this process of organizing and evaluating educational documents, our team of experts will identify if there have been violations of Utah Special Education Rules. If our team finds evidence that state and/or federal laws were not honored, our team will identify each specific rule and code that was violated.
We identify goals, services, and remedies to assist your child. Our detailed, written report is presented to the Special Education Team by one of our experts. We have good outcomes with Teams making positive changes to student plans and services.
